Let me be the last person to recommend you read Atul Gawande’s article in the New Yorker about our health care system, if you haven’t already done so.  (I read it in last month’s issue on my Kindle, but you Luddites can read it on your computer thingies.)

It’s terrific.  By looking at one town, McAllen, Texas, he lays out the whole problem, the whole debate currently going on over what to do about health care.  And he does it in a completely readable, digestible way.
