Didn’t We Used to Have a Sports-Columnist?

There’s cheating in NASCAR! The purest form of sport.

And advertisments at Wrigley! The purist of sports venues.

Just saying.

Anybody think Toyota still wants to become NASCAR’s main sponsor in the future?

  2. Michael Lasley Says:

Well, they are “seething.” Is there a Hall of Fame for NASCAR? If so, does Waltrip fall into the “juiced” category for consideration?

Please no one answer those questions. I could not care less about NASCAR. Just thought it was an interesting story.

I’d like to extend a hearty welcome to our brand new sports columnist. Michael Lasley joins Juvenal Urbino (everything columnist) and Al Sturgeon (serial book columnist) on the staff at Houseflies.

    Welcome Michael!!!

  4. Al Sturgeon Says:

(Side note: Michael’s addition brings the readership to a grand total of three, too.)

  5. Michael Lasley Says:

Well, there are the three of us, and then there are several people who have stumbled upon our site with their search for “Leigh Ann Touhey,” which I get to take credit for. Seriously, there have been several visitors who came here via a google search for Leigh Ann. Wierd.

And now we’re plugged into all that NASCAR traffic.

  7. Michael Lasley Says:

In that case, maybe someone can tell me if there’s such a thing as a NASCAR HOF. And if the juicing issue will matter.

  8. Terry Austin Says:

Yes, but it’s actually a Double-Wide of Fame.

I see from the Daytona highlights that Mark Martin — the Phil Mickelson of NASCAR, the Buffalo Bills of NASCAR, the Atlanta Braves of NASCAR — choked again.
